    Welcome Spring

We bid a fond farewell to Winter today, and usher in another Spring. Temps here in the middle of KY are gonna reflect that, with a high today around 70 today, and 60s forecast for most of the week. Warmer temps will bring some much needed rain to the area so the weatherguessers say. We are abnormally dry for this time of year. Time to get ready for the growing season. Mowing lawns, chopping weeds, cleaning fence rows, hoeing gardens.......
No matter where you go.......There you are.

We too are abnormally dry. I hope spring brings more stability in the temp department. We are to be warm today and tomorrow and cooler afterwards with at least one morning below freezing. Hope to finish spreading fertilizer on pasture and hayland today. I'm using 28-13-13 this year which enables me to handle about a third less volume to put out the same nutrients. A buddy got his out ablout 3 weeks ago and his fields have just began to green up. Way too dry here for this time of year too. Hoping it is not a.predictor of the upcoming growing season.

Spring is always the most welcome time of the year. Without question. Even with the long list of spring 'to do' items you listed BigDave. Just think, Aussie John, Ianoz and others over in Austrailia and New Zealand are quickly going into fall now....

Started seeing the geese returning! Still have a foot of snow on the ground, but it is slowly disappearing.
