Rainy Day Hobby-Spitfire MkVB

In the background picture,bottom right hand corner thereof is a picture of my father in uniform. He was an LAC stationed in London, England during the Battle of Britain. He spent many hours keeping the Spitfires in the air in those days.
In the third picture it looks like good old Santa likes them as well.
As you can see it is not finished yet. No rainy days lately.

I am very proud of my family history in the military. My daughter is carrying on with that tradition at this point. She is in Navy Cadets at this point in time and is considering the regular Navy as a career. As for myself, I wasn't allowed in. Can you imagine that they told me I was not trainable.
