    Extreme heavy load

Here are a couple of photos taken recently in the Pilbara iron ore mining area of Western Australia of a Leibheir excavator in the process of being moved between mine sites. Weight of the load including the dual trailer set-up would be about 800 tonnes and being moved by Western Star tractor units. Most of the route was on isolated outback&nbsp;8 metre wide paved roads which were closed off for the move that took only a short period.<img id="vbattach_327" class="previewthumb" alt="" src="attachment.php?attachmentid=327&amp;stc=1" attachmentid="327">
Still getting the hang of posting photos and these only came out as thumb-nails which can be expanded by clicking on them.
