    Lost our dog

Got home from work last night to find our dog had died. he was 11 years old and had cancer. Up until the last day or two, he seemed normal. More interested in eating and being petted. This is the one that would get a pants or pants leg if the wrong person came looking around. Don't know if we'll replace him now or wait until spring.
His favorite spot was a deep hole he had dug, so that's where I laid him and all i had to do was fill it with dirt.

I am really sorry to hear about this Steve. Our pets hold special places in our hearts, and I know you will miss him as long as you live. We have gone through this unexpectedly twice, and our experience has been that a new dog and pal is good therapy. You will know when it's time.
