    Persimmon prediction

Cut open 10 persimmons this weekend and most were knife and a couple were spoon. Old folk weather predicting says that if there is what looks like a knife your winter will be cold with icy winds, a spoon, lots of snow, fork, mild winter. Talked to several others that cut open persimmons and they have got the same results. Figure cold and icy winds with some heavy show for my area. Last winter most of the persimmons were spoon with a few knives, and that was pretty close to what last winter was.

I tasted persimmons for the first time a few years back, rather liked the taste.

Mostly spoons are showing up in persimmon seeds here. Most of the wooly worms I've seen are golden brown. The two don't match. Maybe they are as confused as the weather guessers have been lately? Imagine a smiley for "warm or hot" here!
