I'm still learning what came on this new computer I got last winter, after using windows xp for ten years. 8.1 seems to be working fine, and I'm not ready to start over again.
No matter where you go.......There you are.

I remain in the dark ages here with XP too. I'll stay with it as long as the puter keeps on tickin'. If I need anything more modern, I can use my "smarter than me" phone, although it is outdated as well. When one buys something new in the technology area these days, it is "old".

It's funny too cuz on this machine and my laptop, once in a while, I still get the pop-up window that sez "Microsoft support for Windows XP ended...", whatever the date was.

Out of desperation, I updated this 8.1 to 10. Reminds me of the older windows, but uses the 8.1 app style icons. Seems to stat up better and faster, but I'm having trouble with my bookmarks on this new browser, and have to revert it to Explorer.

Changing to Windows 10 dumped me from this site, and wiped out my favorites list, as well as my wife's.

Theres a way to import your favorites from IE and Chrome, just don't recall how. Did the same to me, and I imported from IE. You can still use IE too, but cant recall how to use it now either.
