I have a 40C thats been in my family for 50 years. My Dad bought it second hand from a dealer in Bedford County Pa. I,ve had it for the last 30 years. Probably hasn't been run 100 hours in that time. Last year I installed a new radiator as when I was pressure washing the machine I cut a swath through the old one. Runs ok. Early this year I spread some slate with it. I start it 3 or 4 times a year just to move it around and circulate all the oils.
It is taking up some premium storage space in my pole barn so I would like to sell it but have no idea what its worth. That model was only made a couple of years and it has a positive ground electrical system.
Any John Deere collectors out ther that can help me?

Depends on what type of blade,but most likely in the 3000-4000 range,if rough in the 2500 range. _________________ 1972 model 4020 high crop, factory orange JD 430T,2- 430V tractors,530,630,yellow 1010, case 480 backhoe,case 450 dozer,JD 6410 mfwd,etc,etc. |
