Hello everyone,

I was not really sure where to put this thread, so please move wherever you feel appropriate.
Relatively close to where I live I found a farm with close to 100 vintage tractors!! I talked to the owner a little and he said he just bought little by little, so I guess it is much more of a private collection than a junkyard but it sure looks like one! Really an amazing gathering of tractors, engines, and much of anything mechanical. I hope you guys find this as interesting as I did! Overall, most of their tractors were Cases (including their newer work machines).

Here is just a glimpse of what they had:

I have more pictures as well if you want them, but know that I only pictured half of everything they had!

Wow, there's a little of everything in there. Case, IH, AC, Oliver all jump out, I'm sure there's more.

A good variety there. A real pity that they are all left outside. Reminds me of one of our club members, he just has to try and 'save' them all, but he is putting off the inevitable by leaving them all outside.

Yeah, there really were a lot of interesting tractors there. He had one more barn full of them but I did not want to intrude more so I didn't get any pictures of that.

The owner said he has about 50 case tractors as well as 20 farmalls F-20s, in addition of course to the cockshutt, allis, olivers and other odds and ends. There were also quite a few old cars and trucks on the property, including an old Fiat and Mercedes as some odd balls.

I have a few more pictures. There was a lot more to photograph but I did not want to seem like I was practically surveying the property.

I wish I could get my hands on one or so, at least to save it and have some fun with. But I got the feeling that the owner was not one to give them away or for a relatively little amount. =( oh well, I will certainly know where to go if i ever need parts!
