This looks like an interesting project.Did you buy this tractor as is where is?
What happened to it that it came to be sitting where it is?Did something major go wrong with it and they simply left it? |

Yes I bought it as is where is for $900. The reason it sat around so long is that the previous owner was going to restore it but never got around to it. He bought it at auction many years ago. So it sat in the hot high desert sun near the little town of Onyx, CA. He wanted to sell the property and wanted it removed. When I went to look at it, he I think wanted to prove to me that it would run and shot starting fluid into the air cleaner and had it halfway running on starting, but I immediatedly stopped him as I know it could have easily ruined the engine. I just wanted to know the engine wasn't stuck. _________________ Gil Stuart |

That sounds like my kind of project, not needing anything major done to it. I hop you enjoy your tractor. _________________ Green Jobs involve a John Deere or Oliver.

Oh sweet find there. That is one of my favorite older Molines made. Back in the day, that was a mean beast.
Keep us posted on your restore. |

That's another Minnie i was never given the opportunity to drive; and they were a sure nuff beast in their time. Don't remember any one here having a one-way big enough to load the GBD fully not even in this gumbo soil. No kidding, when one showed up a few years ago at a pull. A few guys was like ha what can he do. And mocked him some. They thought twice when he won that weight class. |

| The GB diesel is a favorite of the pullers. The 425ci motor has excellent lugging power, but not highly rated in horsepower(I think about 63). More common in Canadian Prairies. Massey 95 was same tractor but with different hood and grill. GB was replaced with GV1. |
