| I have been looking for a part for a Nuffield 1060 tractor. I am not sure of the correct terminology for describing the part. I think it is called an air breather. It is the mushroom shaped air intake pipe that sits on top of the bonnet. There are short versions and long versions but it is the long version that I'm looking for. Does anyone on the forum know of anywhere that I could acquire one of these. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Hi - These air cleaner pre-cleaner pipes may be found in tractor breakers, the long was for export hot dusty climates and the short for home market and cold climates. They also sometime turn up on eBay. I've also seen them at Classic Tractor Show trade stands and in the classified advert sections of Classic Tractor magazines. Where are you? - MoreNuff

Hi there Jim; ... did you ever get the part you need ? I have two 1961 4Dm's with the same air breathers on them.
I DO know where there is one or two, sitting on tractors that are being parted out.
