Just bought a 51 C to tinker with. It will be in my driveway Friday late afternoon.

I have some pics from the sellers house.

Hope to fix it up for parades and shows.

Thanks

Joe-Joe

I just figured out how to post pictures.
Hope you can see them.
I'll keep in touch and hope to figure out how to upload pics faster.
The guy wanted $800 obo. He took $700.
It started right up but needs alternator work, lights, paint and, I guess, more to come.

Well, The "BEAUTY" is in my garage. It was delivered around 5:30 this afternoon. The first thing I did was to drive it down the road. It's super.

Then I looked at the serial number. Then checked the internet. I was misinformed. The serial number shows that's it's actually a Super C.

Model: FC
Serial No. 122874

The paint on the hood was faded badly, but I think I could make out a "Super C". It does not have a 3ph. I thought Super C's had 3ph.

There is also a number on the engine block below the spark plugs.

10 10 W

I can't remember where there web site was that showed the engine codes.
Maybe someone can help.

Anyway, hope to get pictures posted sometime this weekend and start asking 100's of questions.

Thanks

Joe-Joe

Joe-Joe,

Good lookin' Super C you've got there. Super C's didn't come with a three point. IHC didn't offer 3 pts until after the fast hitch era. The number 10 10 W on your engine block is an IHC casting code, you'll find similar codes on every major piece on your tractor. They wont all match, but will be within a month or so of each other. Your engine block was cast on October 10, 1951. My Farmall M has a late October '51 serial number and most of its casting codes are within the Aug-Oct time frame.
