Hi, I have a Nuffield 4\25. I got it from my Opa who passed away a few years ago. Now we're fixing it. We finally got a pulley for the water pump.

The repaired pulley ( We got it fixed because a new one was $150+shipping)

There was a broken bolt in the block, , so we drilled out the bolt.

Why yes it is a petrol. If you look hard at the first pic you can see spark plug wires

Yesterday (Saturday) we got the radiator on and took it for a spin. When we stopped my dad said that there was a little problem with the governor, he said it is slow, the engine on the tractor was very snappy.

Good luck with the tractor. I have a BMC 4/25 that I purchased over 15 years ago, and even have a loader on it. Beat the living snot out of it over the years moving all kinds of stuff with it, and it just keeps on going. Great little tractor, and wish I had another. Right now doing it's yearly tune up, and time for some new plug wires and points, if I can find them! Oh, mine is the petro one too. Also looking for the muffler, have some jerry rig on it, from when I purchased it, think it's a 8N as it shoots under the tractor and out the back. Anyone know where I can get the original one?

Yea ... um a couple days ago i checked the gas in the bottom of a clean pop can and the gas looks like orange juice but somehow it is still running on the gas that is in it. I love that thing and if you go online you can find all kinds of parts for those things just type in leyland nuffield tractor parts and find one that says parts for British leyland, nuffield ,BMC and Marshall the parts are from europe so they might cost a bit to ship
have a good day
