Well DB,, it appears that You are a true authority on David Brown tractors; that's something we see very little of here in the tiny corner of earth i call home. Thanks for posting the foto's, i expect to learn lot's about DB tractors here now. I noticed the 870 Case; that's a pretty well known tractor here; well thought of. Thanks again.

Yeah i no a fair bit about the DB but my father knows every thing there is to know about them! There is 2 case 970's the white one is my uncles and is used for contract work!

The desert sunset coloured one is one of only 2 sold in europe new in these colours our one spent its life in Co.Dublin doing duty's such as plouging with a 7 furrow plough (orignaly 8 furrows but to big)

The other Desert sunset colured agri King was broke for spares in the UK.

Which of the David Brown tractors would be similar in pulling power to the 870 Case?

What horse power is a 870?? Id say the 1690 none turbo would be simaler to the 870.
